Lawrence J. Rich is Of Counsel to Zashin & Rich, Co., L.P.A. Larry co-founded the firm in 1981. At Zashin & Rich, Larry practices in a variety of areas of law. He primarily focuses on domestic relations, real estate and business law. In his domestic relations practice, Larry is involved in a number of contested divorce and custody cases, representing both men and women. Many of his matters involve complicated inter-state and international issues and complex property divisions. He practices in this area throughout Ohio.

Larry approaches real estate transactions from a practical point of view. He has personal experience in both residential and commercial real estate and has extensive experience in applications for real estate tax reductions. He has taught real estate law at Cuyahoga Community College and worked as a Deputy Cuyahoga County Auditor.

In the field of business law, Larry has represented a wide range of companies, from new small business owners to multimillion dollar corporations. He has provided legal counsel in the areas of sales, mergers and acquisitions. Larry has also successfully defended companies in complex environmental actions throughout the country. He authored a law review article on the Local Government Fund which was published in volume 15 of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Review.

Larry graduated with a major in finance and a minor in accounting from the Ohio State University in 1963. He earned his law degree (J.D.) from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1967. He was the President of Cleveland-Marshall's Law Alumni Association from 1980-1981.
